About
Obrysy is Czech-based type design studio founded by Jitka Schneider. Jitka studied graphic design and visual communication in Czechia and Slovakia. She holds master from Type and media programme of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (NL). Her master project was rewarded with silver prize from Morisawa Type Design Competition 2016 (JP). During her practise she has designed and produced typefaces for established foundries such as Indian Type Foundry, Morisawa Inc. and she collaborated on font production with Rosetta Type amongst other projects.
Services
Obrysy practice includes creation of retail fonts, custom type design and font development.
We offer a range of retail fonts available through our website under a Basic Licence — a non‑exclusive, perpetual licence that covers use within a defined size range. We also provide custom modifications and additions to our fonts, such as alternate letterforms, expanded glyph sets (including special characters, symbols, icons, ornaments, etc.), and extended language support for Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic scripts. For unique branding or project needs, we design and produce fully custom typefaces or lettering tailored specifically to your requirements.
