About
Obrysy is independent type design studio founded by Jitka Janečková. Jitka studied graphic design and visual communication in Czechia and Slovakia. She holds master from Type and media programme of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (NL). Her master project was rewarded with silver prize from Morisawa Type Design Competition (JP) in 2017. During her practise she has designed and produced typefaces for established foundries such as Indian Type Foundry, Morisawa Inc. and she collaborated on font production with Rosetta Type amongst other projects.
Services
Studio practise includes production of retail fonts, custom font design and font development.
• Obrysy offer retail fonts via our website under Basic Licence – non-exclusive perpetual licence to use the fonts within range of selected size.
• Obrysy provide custom additions and modification of our fonts; alternate letter shapes, editions to the glyph set (special characters, symbols, signs, icons, ornaments, etc.), as well as language extension (Latin, Greek and Cyrillic script support).
• Obrysy design and produce custom typeface or lettering tailored to your specific needs.
• Obrysy give 60% discount for students and non-profit organisations.
